Dental technology is always changing and improving. One of the more recent advances comes in the form of in office 3D printers. Printing allows us to make more accurate models of teeth and fabricate nightguards in the office. 3D printers are also capable of printing custom dentures which we hope to be able to start doing in the future. Printing a denture in the office would greatly reduce waiting time for patients. Storing files digitally also allows for appliances to be reprinted in case it gets lost or broken. 

We try to stay up to date with technology in our office. Printing has already improved patient care and will be exciting to watch as the field evolves.
