Our office has a long history as a dental office. We are proud to be the fourth dentists to be able to use this space. In January 2025 we acquired the office from Dr. Glenn Okuda, who provided excellent patient care for nearly 40 years. Some of our patients may also remember Drs. Kaneshiro and Shimokawa who also practiced in this space. During that time the office was smaller and part of the building held a shoe store.
Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us. In our office we follow the standards set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Considering that we live on an island we try to reduce our waste and reuse our equipment so long as it is safe to do so.
Prior to using each item we thoroughly disinfect or sterilize it using either chemical disinfectants or an autoclave which kills pathogens through both heat and pressure.
