Veneers and Bonding

Custom Veneers and Bonding

Veneers and bonding are cosmetic treatments designed to enhance the shape, color, and appearance of your teeth. Veneers are thin porcelain shells bonded to the front surface of teeth to correct imperfections, while bonding uses tooth-colored resin to repair minor chips, gaps, or discoloration. Both procedures can provide natural-looking, long-lasting results that improve smile aesthetics.

If you are interested in veneers or bonding we will first assess your teeth to determine the best treatment options. Veneers, similar to crowns, require two visits to complete. Occasionally veneers can be bonded to teeth without any preparation. In most cases, however, we will need to remove a small amount of enamel to accommodate the thickness of the porcelain, preventing a bulky feel and allowing for a better fit to the tooth.

Bonding, like tooth-colored fillings, can be completed in one visit. Bonding involves placing resin directly onto teeth to help correct minor chips or cracks. Good oral hygiene is essential to protect both veneers and bonding and ensure longevity.
